Technical Rules
|
Chassis :
|
- any side-winder chassis designed for model car racing at 1/24 scale.
Assembly must be done by screwing or glueing, not by soldering.
|
|
Motors :
|
Fox 2

Dimensions :
|
- Maximal width of the rear and front axles at any time : 83 mm,
wheels must be completely covered by the body when viewed from above
|
|
Guide :
|
- Of standard make, maximum length of blade 27 mm
|
|
Front wheels :
|
- Minimum rim width: 5 mm - Minimum tire contact surface: 5 mm - Minimum tire diameter: 23 mm - Rim diameter: between 17 and 20 mm - Independent front wheels are allowed - The front wheels must be equipped at all times with realistic inserts.
A missing insert must be replaced immediately.

Rear wheels :
|
- No work on the rear tyres is allowed.
Min. Ø 26,0 mm during and after the race. - The only allowed rear wheels will be tagged,
hand-out Scaleauto Procomp 3, Ø 27,5 x 13 mm, inside Ø 20 mm. - The rear wheels must be equipped at all times with realistic inserts.
A missing insert must be replaced immediately.

Axles and bearings :
|
- No restrictions
|
|
Gears :
|
- free
|
|
Bodies :
|
Allowed bodies : Any commercially available Group C body - The body must be complete at all times during the race.
The only allowable exceptions are rear view mirrors and windshield wipers.
Any other missing part must be replaced immediately. - All bodies must be equiped with a painted and detailed 3-dimensional interior,
with at least a driver figure, separate helmet, steering wheel and dashboard

Car Weight :
|
- Total car weight must be minmum 165 gr.
|

Minimal ground clearance:
|
- Ground clearance will be periodically checked during the race. A) Car entering or re-entering the track: - front: 1.0 mm on tech block - rear: 1.0 mm on tech block B) During the race: - front: 0.4 mm on tech block - rear: 0.4 mm on tech block - Rear ground clearance will be measured below the entire rear end of the chassis,
from the physical end of the chassis, till 20 mm in front of the rear axle. - Front ground clearance will be measured between the point 20 mm in front of the rear axle,
and the utmost front of the chassis.
